I dont know if Henry Rae is related to Adam Rae. There is a strong possibility that he was given he was born / lived in Gavington. There is an older cemetery inside the Eastate at Gavington (formerly known as Langton)I have not seen it, and i am told it is overgrown and in a general state of
neglect, with many of the stones toppled over, and weather beaten.
Adam Rae had a Daughter named Agnes Rae who was married too
Thomas Miller. In 1881 Thomas Miller & Agnes Rae lived at
Gunsgreen Hill Cottages Ayton. (Theres also a Guns Green at
Eyemouth, which is close by Ayton)

Hutton Mains Farm until Thomas Raes death in 1905 aged 68.
There was also a Thomas Rae a Farmer at Clarabad Farm (just along the Road from Hutton Mains)he died in August 1915 aged 68.
