Descendants of Robert Rae and Mary Little of Sutherlandshire

I am interested in locating the ancestors of Mary and Robert Rae who stayed in Scotland. There were nine children of which four James, Helen, Mary and Janet came to New Zealand. I have good information about those families. However, the Scottish connection is a mystery. The children who remained in Scotland were Robert born 1836, Margaret born 1843, married Walter Notman in 1867 at Borrible,Eliza born 1847 married Donald McDonald in 1872 at Kildonan, Isabella born 1849 married Hugh Shearer at Helmdale, Violet born 1850 and Thas born 1853 married Ellen Ormiston in mid 1870s. All the children were born within the parish of Creich.
