St. Charles (Illinois) Chronicle, June 18, 1909 Lily Lake Man Commits Suicide from Tuesday's St. Charles Journal Charles Radley, a Lily Lake carpenter, shot himself Monday morning at his home, dying soon after. Mr. Radley is a good workman but was addicted to drinking at intervals. About twice a year, he would allow his appetite for drink to get the better of him. Monday morning he ate his breakfast but as not feeling well, and while his wife went to call the doctor, he went to his bedroom and shot himself. The inquest was held in the afternoon with the verdict of suicide. Mr. Radley leaves a widow and two sons. Notify Administrator about this message?
