Hello Lynda,

my brother, Heinz-Gerd Radtke, did the same test by FTDNA.
The result was R1b1c.
Our eldest known ancestor is Christoph Radke * 1785
Wittun/Vandsburg Westpreussen.
Now Wiecbork Poland.
When I look to the R1b1c results I found that a lot person
with this results come from the german region Hessen.
That make sence ,because a lot of people went from this region around 1700 - 1800 to seddle in Pommern, Westprussia Eastprussia.
Also a lot of soldiers from the Hessen Armee 1770-1790 go as soldiers to America .
Hope I could explain you a bit of the history with my bad english.
Do you know where your Radke ancestor are from?
