Carol,

From what I can find, Andy's parents were Thomas Radford and Sally Nanney. They were married in Rutherford County, NC in 1825. The Nanney lineage is well documented back to Wales, but I have hit a dead end with Thomas. I suspect he is connected with John and Jesse Radford in Buncombe County, but I cannot prove that.

Andy married Elmira (Miry) Arrowood. He is my great-great-great grandfather.
