The year 1797 is correct. The county is Hampshire in what is now West Virginia, not Jackson and not Ohio. I think Roland Eliot also has Capt. Harness in his background. I
have another Badgeley at that time. Can't access my FTM just now; hope to have it fixed soon. Gary
