Your Charles was one of the three sons of Richard Radcliff of Garrard Co., KY who left for Indiana in 1814, the year their father died.

The father of Charles was Daniel Stephen Radcliff b. c1716. His father was probably Richard RATCLIFF of Talbot Co., MD. There is a possibility that Daniel's father was James RADCLIFF of Pennsylvania. He and Richard were brothers and left for America due to persecution for being Quakers and refusing to swear oaths to the monarch and not tithing to the Church of England. Sorry I can't help with the later generations.

A woman named Ruth Burgess (?) covered this family very well many years ago and if you find any of her work you might also find data on later generations in Indiana.
