I am doing my family tree on the CHAPPELL'S, which is my maiden name but have become interested in my grandmother, Elsie Ellis or Elsie Ellis Radcliff.
Elsie was born in Margaree, Nova Scotia, Canada. She had 2 brothers, Keith and Brian and 1 sister Patricia Ellis. I don't know where the Radcliff comes in but it has showed up a couple of times attached to her name.
Some time after she was 6 her mother (name unknown) left Canada for the USA with her 2 brothers and sister. Elsie was raised by her grandparents (name unknown).
Elsie married Harold Renwick Chappell from Tidnish and they Moved to Sydney, Nova Scotia abt. 1918.
If anybody has any information about her parents or siblings I would be greatful if you would contact me.
