I think your information is better than anyone else's. I would stick with it. Unlikely that anything new will come along.
How unthoughful of Stephen to die before the first census. His name was prevalent among my folks at that time and place. Sure is provocative. If we ever find anything on Charles Radcliff, it may be that Stephen is his son. Charles was a son of the putative father, Daniel Stephen.
