Re Liz Daugherty's messge no. 562:
The John RADCLIFF who married Catherine COBURN is thought by most to be a son of Daniel Stephen RADCLIFF. A newspaper once published an article stating that he came from Scotland. But the reporter was just taking notes from some family member who may not have known any better. Lotta RADCLIFFs in Scotland to this day.
I have a note that the above John (who m. COBURN) also married Rachel WITHERS first (1795-1872). This must be wrong.
