Ema or Emma Racicot born either June 7, 1874 (per another posting on by Paulette Warner March 15, 2001)or June 26, 1875 per the 1881 Amherst Qc Census Line 18 Family 64) to Jospeh Racicot (born May 25, 1849) and Marceline Poulin (born May 28, 1850). Joseph Racicot and Marceline Poulin married Sept 27, 1869 in Montebello, Quebec.

Marceline Poulin was the daughter of Anthanse or Antanasis Poulin and Adelaide Trottier (dau. of Joseph Trottier & Josephte Daoust).

Anthanse Poulin was the son of Charles Poulin born 1755 and Celeste Blais born 1759.

Charles Poulin was the son of Anthanse Poulin & Marie-Angelique Goulet and they'd married on January 20, 1777 in Vandreuil, Quebec.

Celeste Blais, wife of Anthanse Poulin (son of Charles Poulin), was the daughter of Joseph Blais Jr. & Marie-Anne Vivien Ladouceur.

Joseph Blais Jr. was the son of Joseph Blais Sr. (1697-1760) & Marguerite Cadieux (1706-1757) of St. Anne d' Bellevue, Quebec.

Marie-Anne Vivien Ladouceur was the daughter of Pierre Madeleine Ladouceur & Marguerite-Ann Gaudry.

Pierre Madeleine Ladouceur was the son of Joseph-I Lamagdeleine -dit Ladouceur & Marie-Catherine Girardin -dit Sansoucy.

Marguerite-Ann Gaudry was the daughter of Andre Gaudry -dit
Bourbonnierre & Marie-Ann Pelletier.

That is, if I am correct in that Elie Ladouceur's wife Ema or Emma Racicot was indeed the daughter of Joseph Racicot & Marceline Poulin.

Hope this helps anyone tied to this branch. Mark Leckie
