I don't think that this is going to help any but yes I have been told by my father (David Victor Race)that there is Native American blood that flows through our vain. I have many times tried to figure this out, to no avail. I always could not find any information to back up these stories. When I did my studies on the Race family. I did not have the internet at the time to do any research. My father was born in Abbott, ME on June 6th 1929. I am the youngest of his seven son's. My name is Glen Virgil Race. I was born in Salem, MA on June 13, 1972. Most of the family that I know are from the Maine area. I would like to find out as much about "us" as I can. I think that we have ties to Ireland but am not sure of it. My grandfathers both have past on before I ever got the chance to talk with them. Something that I would very much like to do at this time but that is not possible, God rest there soles. I am glad that I have found this site. Take care and good luck on your research.
