Sorry it's taken me so long to respond, but I was waiting for some old letters from Arkansas.
I was afraid this was a lost cause. I'm glad to hear that there are many Raby's in Big Flats. Unfortunately, the letters I got were not very helpful. They were written long ago and although the author (a great-aunt of mine) keeps mentioning she wants to learn the names of Mylinda Rabie's parents, the best we get are guesses. This is what I have, and I warn you, this is what I copied from the handwriting, so the language is strange and some spelling may be wrong:

Uncle Sherman Rabie lived in Pettie Jean Mont. on Ark. River. Aunt Rachel Iel or Issac last count of them was 1930 or 31 lived at Waston de Shay County Ark. Grandpaw name Jim or James. Grandmaw he thinks it was Sarah. Don't know anything about any of her family. Opal said there is one of dad's Uncle named Bill.

However, another letter states that her father's name might be George. So confusing!

So confusing!I hope this helps, especially the siblings. I was curious as to the spelling of Rabie compared to Raby, but I suppose it's still from the same line. Do you have any clue as to this?
