The following is what I have on James Rabb (I have him born in 1734, possibly in Ireland, but this may be in error) Died: 1806 in Winnsboro, Fairfeild County South Carolina. He married Hannah Barnett - born: 1738 and died November 8 1843 at 105 years of age. Hannah is buried in the Cemetery at Rabbville, Conecuh County, Alabama (5 miles east of Evergreen Alabama on Hwy. 31) and her headstone remains today. After James' death Hannah moved from Fairfield County S.C. with her children, William and James Barnett Sr. to Rabbville Ala in 1819. I have that James served in the Revolutionary War-DAR file 6194 Relatives Dar file 398151. James was an Appraiser in 1792. He had a brother named Robert and a sister named Nancy. See Will of James Rabb in Book 6, page237 Apt 29 File 450 Dept. of Archrives Fairfield County, S.C. Dated June 8, 1806. James is listed in the 1790 Census of Camden Distric, Fairfield County with 3 free white males over 16 years of age, 3 free white males under 16 years of age, and four(4) white females including heads of families, no slaves.
