MY 87 YEAR OLD AUNT REMEMBERS HER GRANDMOTHER COMMENTING THAT WHEN SHE (ALICE QUISENBERRY)MARRIED WILLIAM GRANT BERRY IN LEXINGTON KENTUCKY THAT SHE HAD TO "LEAVE HER CUSHION HOME" BECAUSE SHE BECAME SIMPLY A BERRY. THIS IS A REFERENCE TO THE TRADITIONAL PRONUNCIATION OF QUISENBERRY AS CUSHION-BERRY. I THOUGHT IT WAS A CUTE STORY TO REMEMBER. GOOD LUCK IN YOUR RESEARCH
