HI MaryAnn,

Thank you for your e-mail. Since leaving this message I have found a direct male descendant of Nathaniel Quisenberry to participate in the DNA project. We are currently awaiting the final test results from that descendant and my Uncle to determine if my line is descended from Nathaniel or not. My family have had a hunch for some time that we are, but we have no documentation to prove it. This is the route we are now taking to prove it or disprove it. It appears, however, from the preliminary results that we are. Once this is determined the Quisenberry DNA project is open to ANY male Quisenberry.
In the last few years my family and I have been doing very heavy research on the Quisenberry Family. I do think there is a general belief that all the Quisenberrys in America came from on family. Thanks to a couple of distant relatives we now have Nathaniel Quisenberry's line going back to the 1400's.
I have also learned in my research that there are a lot of mistakes in the A.C. Quisenberry books. I have never set eyes on them, but I would imagine it is still a good resource.
If you would like to talk further please do e-mail me at grandiflorafd@yahoo.com. I would love to compare notes and see how we may be realted.

Thanks,
Tina Hollingsworth
