A. C. Quisenberry who wrote two books on the Quesenbury-Quesenbery-Quisenberry-Quisinberry lines believed that the origin of the name was in Germany with the von Questenburg family who were members of the Hanseatic Guild. His books were published in 1897 and in 1898. I was able to obtain copies through a firm in Zeeland, Michigan, that copied old books. Any researcher needs to locate these books.
Contact me for the names.
