I'm trying to find out information about George M. Quirk who was my grandfather. I don't know if he were born in Barnstable County, MA, but I know he's buried there in St. Peter's Cemetery. He married Anna Frances Neiter on June 9, 1897, in New Bedford, MA. At the time of his marriage he was living in Fairhaven
My cousin told me that the Quirk's/Quirke's landed in Nova Scotia but she didn't know when. The rest of the Quirk family in MA and VA haven't been very friendly or helpful so I'm kind of stuck and should appreciate any info you can pass on. I think my father was persona non gratis in the MA family.
