Hi - I'm not related, just hoping to help. In the 1930 census for Adair Co., OK, there is a Dave Quinton, age 53; wife Lucy, age 43; children: Dave, 22; Cherokee,17;
Laura, 13; Leonard, 15; Ola Mae, 10; and Bennie, 7. In 1910, this Dave Quinton is in Sequoyah Co., OK, Rocky Mountain twp -- age 36, b. OK and is 3/4 Cherokee Indian;
wife Lucie, 23 is listed as 1/4 Cherokee; children William D., 2 and Emma L., 10 are listed as 1/2 Cherokee.

The final DAWES Roll, Cherokee, Card#1142 are these:

David Quinton, age 23, 3/4 Cherokee, Roll#3137
James Quinton, age 15, 3/4 Cherokee, Roll#3134
Johnson Quinton, age 11, 3/4 Cherokee, Roll#3135
Lewis Quinton, age 10, 3/4 Cherokee, Roll#3136
LETHA QUINTON, age 75, full blood Cherokee, Roll#3133 (I believe this to be their mother)
LEWIS QUINTON, age 63, 1/2 Cherokee, Roll#3132 (I believe this to be their father)
Also listed on this card are:
Charlie Varm and Anda Varm - possibly Letha's parents.
Another name on the card is - Haahheyah

If Mary Jane and Elzira didn't live in Indian Territory/Oklahoma between 1898 and 1914, they wouldn't be listed on the DAWES Roll. I didn't find Mary Jane, but I see Elzira Johnson, age 64, living with William J. Jones and wife Mila Q/C as mother in law in Scott Co., AR in 1930)

We have these cards on microfilm at our library - very likely the card itself would give more details as to relationships; if you think the above fits your family, email me at arkomavalley@juno.com and I'll try to get to the library one day next week and look at the card itself.

Here's the 1900 census on the family:
1900 Cherokee Nation, Twp. 13, ED 44, sheet 10a&b, June:
Fam#37
Lewis Quinton, March 1837, 63, married 30 years, b. NC,
parents b. NC, farmer
Leatha, wife, May 1842, 58, 10 children/7 living, b.
Indian Territory, parents same
Jeff, son, Feb. 1869, 31, single Ind. Terr.
Jim, son, Sept. 1884, 15, b. Ind. Terr.
Johnson, son, July 1889, 11, b. Ind. Terr.
Lewis, Jr., grandson, July 1890, 10, Ind. Terr.
(I found David Quinton listed as boarder in jail in 1900, I believe it was in Adair Co., but didn't write it down.)

Lethia Quinton is buried in Buffington Cemetery in Sequoyah Co., OK; 1825 IT - 22 Oct. 1921

I also found an obituary for Emma Lee Webb of Oroville CA, died 2001, parents David William Quinton and Mary Lee Quinton; preceded in death by half-sisters Laura Fuller;
Cherry (Cherokee) Talbot; and Ola Mae Stann; half-brothers Levi, Bennie, David Jr. and Leonard. Be glad to send it to you if you like.
