Hi. I don't know if this will help or just confuse you. I am related to Quintons from South Carolina and Arkansas and mostly the ones in Oklahoma. I am trying to figure out exactly who you are talking about. My grandfather was Farrell Quinton from Quinton, Oklahoma. His father was James Nimrod Quinton whose father was Samuel James Quinton whose father was William A Quinton born in SC in 1807. His father was Samuel Quinton born in 1762 in SC and died in Polk, Arkansas in 1849. This Samuel had a son named James that was born in 1805 but in Ga and I can't find where that James had a daughter named Martha. I'm sure this James is probably related to me, I just don't know how.
