James Quinton, b. SC early 1800s

Seeking information on JAMES QUINTON who arrived in Arkansas about 1833 via a wagon train that began in Mayfield, Kentucky. According to census information, he was born in South Carolina about 1805. I have found his family in the 1840 Sevier County, Arkansas census. The 1850 Polk County, Arkansas census verifies those older children still at home, plus new ones added between the census years.

My great grandmother, MARTHA JANE QUINTON, (name verified through documentation) who married George M. Winton about 1850 (census record) is a daughter of James Quinton (verified through various documentation).

I would appreciate knowing ANYTHING at all about this Quinton family. Who were James' siblings, parents, grandparents, etc.? Any help would be appreciated. Doyleen
