Samuel and Mary of Chester SC

I have a theory for the descendants of Samuel and Mary Quinton of Chester Co. SC. After looking at my notes that their son James named a child Mary Watson Quinton and that their son Samuel named a child Hugh Watson Quinton, I'm guessing that Old Samuel's wife Mary may have been a Watson and thought someday someone in that family line might want to explore the possibility.
The Watsons were in the same area as the Quintons as early as the 1750's. I'm going to include a few notes I made that might be helpful to someone aquainted with the area and names these families were involved with.
David Watson is mentioned in 1765 when John McNit Alexander bought land on the waters of David Watson's Spring. David was brother to Col. Sam Watson. Col. Sam Watson's wife, Elizabeth McDowell, was born in Lancaster PA and Samuel's father was born in Tyrone, Ireland. All of them were Presbyterians.
In 1765 John Watson was a surveyor and Col. Sam Watson was a neighbor of Samuel Quinton of Chester, the Nesmiths and Patricks. In 1765 James Watson was living on Fishing Creek close to the Penningtons and Humphries. James Allison of Rowan sold land to Patrick of Lancaster, PA on the south side of the Cataba River close to John Humphries in 1767. Allsey Watson brought land on Fishing Creek adjacent to James Watson and Thomas Scott. (Note: Samuel and Mary Quinton would have been married around the 1765 time frame, with their first son James being born shortly thereafter.)
