Martin would be my GGGgrandfather. Capt. Ellis was always putting out to sea from Calais, ME. His son, Horatio Nelson Hopps, was raised by relatives on their farm in Calais which he inherited, and where he married and raised his family of eight, including my grandfather George.

The LaMoille, IL branch is from the cousin of Martin H. He is Martin also, a son of John Hopps/Martha Bradford. Martin marries Hannah Little and their kids are Herman, Arthur and Irving. A second marriage for Martin adds Mira and Newton.
