In answer to the many question re Luis Quintero, I am posting what I have discovered:

1. Jose Clemente Quintero (c1778-1803) b. Alamos, Sonora, Mexico, son of Luis Quintero and Maria Petra Rubio. Married at Santa Barbara Presidio 1779 to Maria Josefa Andrea Rodriguez b. Santa Barbara 1786. Maria died 1851 at Santa Barbara. Their two children:

Juan Francisco Quintero died an infant.

Maria Dolores Sixta Quintero (1801-1837) Santa Barbara.

2. Luis Manuel Quintero (c1726-1810) b. Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. maried Alamos, Sonora to Maria Petra Rubio (1741-1802) at Santa Barbara. Their children:

Maria Josefa Juana Concepcion Quintero b. c1763 m. Jose Rosalino Fernandez.

Maria Catarina Josefa Quintero (c1765-1798) m. Joaquin Rodriguez.

Fabiana Sebastiana Quintero
(c1766-1822) born and married at Alamos; buried Mission San Gabriel.

Maria Tomasa Quintero b. 1772 Alamos, Sonora. Married Jose Rafael Gerardo Gonzales in 1785 and then to Jose Maria Vicente Valenzuela, widower of Juana Maria Canedo.

Maria Concepcion Quintero (1773-1838) Alamos, Sonora. Married Jose Miguel Flores at Mission San Buenaventura and then to Ygnacio Pacheco, widower of Maria Dolores Cantua.
Buried Mission Santa Clara.

Maria Rafaela Quintero (1775-1783). Buried Santa Barbara Presidio Chapel.

Joses Clemente Quintero (c1778-1803) Alamos, Sonora. Married Maria Josefa Rodriguez 1799 at Santa Barbara Presidio and buried there.

Maria Gertrudis Castelo (adopted) b. ca 1765 Alamos.
Married Domingo Aruz Mission San Buenaventura 1782.
