I am searching for more information on Fernanda Quintero from "Spain" (as on their son's census info) who married James Alexander Hill in the 1830s. They had many children, including my gggrandfather, John W. Hill, who was sent to KY and later, to Missouri, where he enlisted in Springfield, Ray Co., Mo in the CSA. After the war he came to Texas (East Texas) and lived in several counties. His brothers had gone to West Texas and New Mexico. In about 1866 James re-entered Texas with his family and from there each branched out - the hill country, Bandero and El Paso Counties, and then to New Mexico where James A. Hill died. I do not know where his wife died.
Any info would be most helpful.
