Thanks so much for the information on the book. I checked out the website and plan to purchase it soon. It is everm more interesting because my father is a Gonzalez and I also have Gonzalez in my mother's family.
I am very excited about the possibility of our connection. However, my records indicate Manuelita was married to Nicolas Gonzalez. It's possible, she re-married. Besides my grandmother, Herninia, Manuelita's other children were named Gabriel, Jesusita, Maria, Nacario, Ines, Esiquio and Enrigue.
It's interesting that one of her sons was names Gabriel, the same as the father for Maria Manula. I will check with my mother's family to see if they know who her parents were. I do remember my mother saying General Bonifacio was related, but she couldn't verify the details. Something she remembers growing up in General Bravo.
