Hi Linda : Im a quinones with a little bit of information about the quinones name. When our ancestors whent to liberate that part of Spain from the mooros ,they of course as quinones man couldnt resist the mooros woman and as spaniars they took what they whanted they so did and those where the ones that came to the New Word in colombus time and landed in the Island and them migrated to south america ; I understand that the quinones families in puerto rico is all one family but unfortunaly they each took their own way and didnt keep in contact with each others ;the towns that they spread to begun in anasco ,rincon and san german and isabela .So something that u probably didnt know is that we have arab blood in us like it or not ( I dont ) my fathers name was luis octavio quinones from anasco and we had the only family that kept in contac with us was from quebradillas > I think that them are all pass away by now .my father die in N.Y. I have a son name michael and a dougther name ada .Im looking for more info. about the fam. and I will posted as soon as I get it .Feel free to start a conversation with any quinones that came from P.R for we all are related one way or another .
