My Quinn's spelt quin at the time came from Creenagh Armagh which I believe is in the Richill diocese.......not that far frfom Clare township and Clare valley and there was a tale handed down that they were frome ..Clare....obviousley not County Clare....Patrick Quin m Agnes Dalton......I have contact with the descendents of Margaret married to William Douglas settled in Newcastle on Tyne.......MAry Ann m James O Hanlon.....also a Thomas and a Felix Line from Jarrow.....I am descended from Patrick Quin son of Patrick Quin and Agnes....the others are his siblings the family was reported as large and one branch went to US and another to Australia....My great grandfather was born circa 1830's and married Ann McCart from Down in Felling Durham England .......There was Patrick,John, James, Mary Ann,Thomas, Felix and Agnes..........My grandfather was James......married to Catherine McAtominey......children Rose,James,Annie,Joseph,John,Peter,Felix,Thomas,Laurence, and Laurence was my fathere married to Mary Ann Clark.....Sons James,John Kenneth,Lawrence and Thomas(Twins) and lastly my self......Mary Patricia.....I have 20 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren......chances are if you can make a connection with Creenagh Armagh than we are related........and we are R C's
