Dennis I am aware of one on my great grandfathers brothers was named David Quinlan, son of Patrick JR. and Honora Murphy. Patrick SR and JR both came over from Ireland in the original Peter Robinson expidition in 1825. They came on the ship "Elizabeth" and are listed on that roster. Patrick Jr. married Honora in Canada. I think 1850 would be a little late for David's birth for him to be the David Quinlan you are interested in. My grandfather who was the next generation, was born in 1874 and he was not the first born of that family. Having said that, David's wife is listed in my info as Maria, Mary??? They are listed as having children John, Patrick, Micheal, Johannah, alice and Bridgit. Also my grandfather had a brother named James, who could have been born around 1877 but the rest of the children do not match at all. Also he is listed as moving to Edmonton. When, I don't know. He also had two brothers John and Patrick who moved to Chicago. My grandfather, Cornelius moved up the road to a farm on Con. 2 in Asphodel. He married Teresa Fitzpatrick, also of Asphodel, Con. 12 I think. They lived there all there lives and had 7 children, one of whom was my father. I can ramble but I really don;t think the David or James Quinlan that you are looking for are in my immediate family tree, although there is probably some link somewhere. Good Luck Brian Notify Administrator about this message?
