It appears a Charles "Quinlin" married Matilda Anderson in Saint Genevieve Co., MO on 20 January 1881. They were married by William (G) Ballard, JoP.

This seems to tally with all the other dates and places with which we associate Tillie.

Charles was the first of four husbands, including Joseph "Joe" Alonzo Shoults, Pierre "Pete" LeClerc (Clerc), and Joseph J. Hamshire.

Given there were only a few years between her marriage to Joe Shoults and Charles Quinlan, we are unsure just now whether Charles died early, they divorced, or what...
