Hi,
I am looking for any information on the family of Johanna Quinlan (widow) (husband possibly Andrew) who were living in Townsend Township, Norfolk County in 1851. They were born in Ireland. John Quinlan age 27 gives his occupation as farmer. Other Quinlans with him are Johanna widow age 67, Ellen age 25, Mary age 23, Bridget age 21, Catherine age19, Patrick age 17, Susan age 15, Michael age 22. Susan Quinlan may have married Daniel McAlpine who is also on the same census page. Ellen may have married James O’Connell.
I believe some of this family came to Warwick Township, Lambton County in the mid 1850’s. I am trying to find information on the family to submit to a committee researching families in Warwick for a book on the Township.
