Thanks again for your reply.I think your David Quinlan is one generation removed from the original family who came to the area in the Peter Robinson expedition from the 1820's.That original farm is still in our family now owned by my cousin Frank. I don't know what you know about the history of this area. I apologize in advance if you're familiar with all of this but that's how Peterborough gets its name through Peter Robinson and your family connection seems to point to this.There are Quinlan's in Ennismore but as I noted yesterday they started out in Asphodel and it would seem that would be your connection.The names you mention such as Hogan are still very much part of the area east of Peterborough.Take care and please add/clarify.B.Q.
