You could try to find an obituary for the one who d. 1972. Social Security Death Index (online): Byron QUIMBY (28 Dec. 1900 - Sep. 1972, Anthony, Dona Ana Co., NM) SSN issued NY.

There's also a Byron QUIMBY (21 Jan. 1946 - 25 Nov. 2004), SSN issued TX, last res. Taos Co., NM.

You should probably get microfilm of censuses. Byron QUIMBY, b. 1866/7/8, was of Merrimack Co., NH, from 1900 through 1930. Online free databases have his name and age but not the members of his household. Byron E., 19, was of Hillsborough Co., 1920.

Do you know names of any wives? RootsWeb Family Trees: Byron QUIMBY m. Ruby OLMSTEAD & had a dau who m. WALKER (no further details).
