Hello Marilyn. Thank you so much for the wonderful Quimby family information. I found the names of Charles Quimby's parents listed in a civil war pension application. Charles' mother's name is a bit unusual and was difficult to find in other records...she was listed as a sister of my great great grandfather, George W. Hadley. That was the reason for my search. George and Philura were children of Miriam and Humphrey Hadley...according to the same pension record application. I really appreciate your taking the time to look up those references. Thank you again. Judy
