Ephraim QUIMBY, b. 1721/4, lived in 1790 in Stephentown, Albany Co., NY: census, QUIMBEY, Ephraim, 2-2-2; James, 1-0-3. Ephraim had several sons, listed on FamilySearch.

Son Elnathan, b. ca. 1763, went by 1810, to Chatham, Columbia Co., NY (census); and by 1840, to Warren Co., PA. History of Nassau says he was there before 1800, but census shows him of Shodack in 1800 & Nassau, Rensselaer Co., 1820.

You can Google his name and get photos of his tombstone in Pine Valley Cem., aka Columbus Twp. Cem., Warren Co., PA, "Sacred to the memory of Elnathan QUIMBY who departed this life August 7 1844 in the 81st year of his age." There is a Rev. War flag holder, but record of service hasn't been found. With him is Famyan, who d. 7 Apr. 1840, aged 27, (first) wf/o A. D. QUIMBY.

Lovisa QUIMBY (26 Dec. 1844 - Feb. 1898) m. 1864, as 2d wf/o Russell J. WELLS (1826, Otsego Co., NY - Feb. 1907) who m1. 1858, Charlotte JUDD, who d. 2 Nov. 1863, per cemetery transcription, but 21 Nov. 1862, per other researcher.
