My mother's Mother was a Quimby. In my records from her info, I have a number of Quimbys listed. A common ancester of ours may exist - Alphs Quimby.

I have an Alpha Quimby married to a Sarah A. Three children: Elmore Joseph, Gilmore, and Leona. I do not have dates for these.

Gilmore Quimby is listed as being born about 1853 and married an Ella McNeil. They had four children: Ralph, Ruth, David, and Alpha. I do not have dates for these other than the listed date of 1853.

Our lineage starts with Elmore Joseph Quimby. He married Angie A. Watson. He had 4 children: Grace, Emma Angie, Bainbridge F., & Walter. My Grandmother was Emma Angie Quimby.

Emma married Celon Samuel Forsyth and their only child was my mother, Evelyn Blanche Forsyth of Lyndonville, VT.

Currently, I am on a quest to locate Dr. Scott Quimby, son of Harry Quimby and Mable Lyon of Westmore, VT. Harry was the son of Grace Quimby (Elmore's daughter) and Charles Winter (strange, since it seems they took their mother's last name rather than the father's}. Grace had 3 children: Harry Quimby, Louise Quimby, & Helen Quimby.
