Seeking information about the family of Charles E. Quimby. The 1880 census has this family in Northfield, Washington County, Vt.; b. 1849/1850, both parents b. in Vt. Name of spouse listed as Ida I. with sons Charles E. b. about 1871, Austin C. b. about 1875, and son Nelson W. b. about 1879.
The information I have states the parents of Charles E. as a "Major" Quimby, and Filuria Hadley, daughter of Humphrey and Miriam Hadley. It is believed Filuria also had a sister Delcini, as well as brothers George W., Andrew J., and Austin.
Charles E. Quimby said to have had a brother Winfield, and sisters Nettie, Delcini and Hattie, who were living in Boston.
