I was interested to see this rare name, Larita, mentioned. Someone close to me who I consider family but is not blood related is named Larita after a nun who took care of her sister in the hospital, when she was very ill as a child. She is my daughter's namesake as I used this name for her middle name. The Larita I know lives in East Providence and grew up in that area during the 1920s. I wonder if there is any connection to this Sister who worked in the hospital??
