Mike Quillman(b.1877) a native of Litchfield, NY, worked on farms in that area and around New Hartford,Clinton, Sangerfield, and Waterville, NY(all located in Oneida County). He died on July 15, 1965 at Community General Hospital, Hamilton, NY. I believe he had a brother Daniel J. Quillman.
Mike married Sarah Buckley(b.1879) of Clinton,NY on 11/27/1901. She died on March 7,1951. They had 10 children and they have all died too. Most of the Quillman family is buried in St.Bernard's Cemetery in Waterville, NY.
Mike Quillman was my grandmother's cousin but I can't make the connection. She was Mary Cecelia O'Donnell from Charlestown, County Mayo,Ireland and came to Utica,NY in 1902 with family including cousins with the last names Durkin and Carroll. She married my grandfather Michael J. Collins of Paris Hill,NY in 1903 and lived there the rest of her life. She died in 1952.
Or... the connection could be my grandfather, Michael J. Collins whose parents were Bryan and Marcella Dowd Collins and they lived on Paris Hill beginning in 1862. The Collins' are buried in St. Mary's Cemetery in Clinton, NY.
I'd like to find out who Mike Quillman's parents were and if he had any more siblings. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
