I just saw your January 2003 posting on the Quillman genforum. I am a descendant of the John and Louise (Quillman) Gutermuth you mentioned, and I've also been very confused as to how all the Gutermuths and Quillmans tie together.
A quick glance through my records shows that Louise was the daughter of a Lawrence and Mary (Groesch?) Quillman , whereas you have her the daughter of John, Jr. and Anna (Beard) Qullman. I need to dig through my information and see where I came up with my information.
I assume you descend from Anna Mary Gutermuth who married Fred Wiser. My great-grandfather ws Anna Mary's brother Lawrence Gutermuth, who married Emma Gessman. My grandmother Lillian (Gutermuth) Worden often spoke of the Wisers and I have some photos of them.
