I'm related to the MacQuillins that came from Scotland. All I know about my ancestors is they were chased out of scotland(by whom...I'm assuming the brits), and migrated to Ireland. I know we are decendents of Robert the Bruce, but I'm not exactly sure why they were chased out of scotland. We don't even have a coat of arms, or one that you can just look up in a public library anyways..
These particular MacQuillins settled in Missouri, or its neighboring states if I'm correct. I'm fairly certain its Missouri tho

I've seen our family tree before a long time ago. One that my great great grandmother had put together.
