Hi Kathy! My name is Mark Alexander and I am connected to the Quilliam family through James Oliver's uncle James Quilliam (b. 1793 in Stokes Co., N.C and d. Jan. 1869 in White Co., Georgia) He married my 4th great aunt Sarah Ann Prickett(1794-1844)daughter of Israel Prickett, Sr. (1763-1837) and Sarah Hargrove (1761-1836). I have James Oliver's father as Daniel Hansel Quillian (b. 1788 in Virginia and d. Unknown) and his mother as Rhoda Spradling Wilson(b abt. 1788)In addition to James Oliver they had 5 other children.
I don't know just what information you have about the early Quillians but I have a little more on the parents of Daniel and some of his other siblings, especially those related to me. If you are interested let me know!
