This information comes from a booklet prepared by Dorothy Quillian Smith, descendant of James Quillian(1793-1869)and Sarah Ann Pickett(1794-1844). They had a son, Wiley Hargrove Quillian (1820-1893)who married Nancy Louancy Meaders(1832-1899). Nancy was the daughter of Christopher Meaders and Candice Garrison. They were first cousins. Christopher's parents were Barney Meaders and Jane Garrison. This booklet contains a reference to The Pickett Family compiled by Frances Garrison and Harry Clifford Walker, Jr., printed in Atlanta in 1972 by Harry Walker, Jr. Perhaps that is another source of Quillian/Garrison information.
