I am a cousin of [james]R.C.Quillen once removed and met some of the family as they were searching their family.I became acquainted with Mildred Quillen Musick when she worked in the library in Pennington Gap before she retired.Ithink she still resides in Dryden,Lee County Virginia. Grover Cleveland Quillen,b.1893,Lee County Virginia,d.9 November 1967,buried Gilbert Cemetery,Dryden,Lee County Virginia.His spouse was Ida Reynolds,b. June 10,1894 lee county Virginia,d.January 9 1947.buried Gilbert Cemetery,d/o Charles and Sally Reynolds.Grover Cleveland Quillen and Ida had the following children: [1]Thelma, married____ Sargent,[2]Patty Elizabeth,b. 1918,married Millard Gulley,[3]Clifton b. abt 1919,[4] Margaret Sue b. June 111924,d.May 24,1948,buried Gilbert Cemetery,[5]R.C.Quillen B. ABT 1926,and [6]Mildred b. abt 1928,married ___ Musick.Grover Cleveland Quillen was, I believe,a railroad worker.He was the son of James 'Jim'Quillen and Martha Smith.James was the son of Charles Franklin Quillen and Susan.Charles Franklin was the son of Levan Quillen and Priscilla Caudle[my ggg grandparents].Levan was most likely the son of John and Mary Quillen of Stokes County,N.C..Please contact me by my email if you would like to have more information.I have documented a large body of work on this line of the Quillen Family.
