My name is Vanessa Quillen. I live in Dayton, OH. My father's name is Barry Quillen from Pennington Gap VA. His mother and father were from VA as well. His father's name was James R.C. Quillen and his mother's name was Leslie Aletha Nichols. She died on Christmas Day when my father was 8 yrs. old and then they moved to Ohio. So, I do not know anything at all about my relatives. The only other info I have is that my Great-grandfather's name was Grover Cleveland Quillen and I don't know where he was born. My grandfather, James Quillen had a sister named Mildred and everyone called her "Red". Obviously she had fire red hair. He also had a brother named Cliff Quillen who lived in Indiana. This is the end of my short family history. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I and my father would love to know more of our relatives. Thank you, Vanesssa Quillen Crislip.
