Hello I am looking for information on Vicente Quijada. What little information I have is that he came to the United States from Madrid, Spain (unsure as to whether or not that is accurate). Vicente was part of the Santa Barbara founding garrison in 1782. His second wife was Maria Antonia Josefa Pineulas. She was born about 1773, at the La Villa de Sinaloa, Sinaloa, Mexico, the daughter of Francisco Pinuelas and Maria Alcaraz. Vicente Quijada first married Juana Maria Armenta (Landera) about 1779, she died on 26 July 1783, and in 1785, he married Antonia Josefa Pinuelas, at the San Gabriel Mission.
