How is the research going?
My Grandfather is Guillermo Quijada he had a brother named Fransisco as well.
According to what I have heard they were born and raised on a ranch in Sonora then fled because of the Mexican Revolution.
Settling in Bisbee, AZ then moving to Solana Beach, CA circa 1930.
He has eight children, twenty granchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
Guillermo Quijada passed in 1984.
Most of famlies still reside in San Diego County with several living in Los Angeles County.
Seems to be a lot of Quijada's in Sonora, MX, there must be a connection.
