QUIGLEY -Beer-brewing Bros. - U.S. mid-W
Looking for two beer-brewing QUIGLEY brothers who emigrated from Londonderry to Saint John, New Brunswick along with third brother, John QUIGLEY (b. abt 1810 in Londonderry). They emigrated in the first half of 1800's. All three were sons of James QUIGLEY who remained in Londonderry.
John (who was a smith by trade) stayed in New Brunswick and worked in a steel rolling mill, but the two other brothers decided to go to the American mid-west.My grandfather (John Leonard QUIGLEY & John's son)knew they established a brewery there, but the family lost all contact with them when John QUIGLEY died in 1897.
I'll give the names of John QUIGLEY and Jane Mary RUSSEL's decendants in case the Unknown brothers used similar names for their children:
Margaret Quigley
George Russel Quigley
Evelyn Joyce Quigley
James Quigley
Annie Gertrude Quigley
Hazel Jane Quigley
Ethel Hildred Quigley
