My Gr.Gr. Grandfather was Richard Quigley, born 1830 in Ireland. He married Mary Glynn, born 1833, in Ireland. Both arrived in U.S. as children. They became naturalized citizens. Richard had a sister, Esther, born 1840. All settled in Brooklyn. Richard and Mary's children were:
Dora (1856), Francis (male 1858) Daniel (1860) another daughter(1862), Richard(my Gr. Grandfather, 1865), Margaret(Maggie, born 1866) and John(1869).
Richard and Daniel grew to join the New York Police Dept.
