Hello John/Alex/Julie
I am so pleased to hear from you.Did we meet when I was a child as I used to go and stay during the summer holidays with my Dad, Daniel Jnr - Annie Brooks (nee Quigg) nephew.I remember a NZ branch coming over with children Carolyn and John ... I remember Aunt Annie and Uncle Jack and Honey the 'square' dog ... too many Polos??
We used to stay in a caravan near Tonduff or the Giant's Causeway and Jim and Anna (Quigg) used to be in Tonduff with their caravan plus Gill and Michael their 'children' and Bess their gorgeous dog.
I remember Berta very well.In fact my brother, Jeremy, saw her a few years ago when he and his wife went over to the Giant's Causeway area.
I met Netta one year with her husband John who I believe are now separated/divorced and in fact Jeremy went over to Canada with my dad and his second wife, Kathleen, years ago.
A copy of the family tree would be wonderful if you don't mind.To update you on our bit of the family.I am single with no children but my brother Jeremy Daniel Quigg married Joanna Margaret Lund and they have a beatiful daughter called Aimee Kate Quigg who was born 25 April 2002.
My Dad met my mum, his first wife, when they were both in the RAF.
I am soooo pleased to hear from you.Oh and I'm sorry I'm rambline ... before he died Dad was able to confirm that Robert Quigg was not a relative.
I think I've gone on quite enough now, I'll probably have bored you by now???
Take care and hope to hear from you soon.
Best wishes,
Carolyn :)
